Sephora Spring Sale: When It Is and What to Buy
If you’re a beauty lover, you should be keeping an eye out for the next Sephora sale–I know I am!
Sephora’s Spring Savings Event is always a big hit every year because the major retailer offers savings up to 20% across the entire site. That includes the most coveted skincare, hair and makeup products on the market from fan-favorite brands like NARS, Anastasia Beverly Hills and Dyson.

When is the Sephora Spring sale?
In 2021, Sephora’s Spring Savings Event started on April 9 and ran through April 19. So expect roughly that timing for 2022. To access the sale you have to become a Sephora Beauty Insider, which is very easy, free and definitely pays off. Here’s how Sephora’s Beauty Insider program works!
What is a Beauty Insider at Sephora?
Beauty Insider is Sephora’s rewards program that gives shoppers tons of perks. Everyone who signs up earns 1 point for every $1 spent, which can be used for discounted and free products, early access to seasonal sales, free standard shipping and free samples with every order. Sephora also delights all Beauty Insiders with a free birthday gift, access to sweepstakes and exclusive beauty offers.
There are three Beauty Insider levels; Insider, VIB and Rouge. Everyone who signs up for free starts at Insider status, and if you spend a certain amount of money each year your level goes up. Achieve VIB (Very Important Beauty) status when you spend $350+ in a year, and achieve Rouge member status when you spend $1,000 in a single calendar year.
Insiders will keep their higher status for the rest of the year and the following year, but if you don’t spend enough after that time you’ll go back to Insider status.
How does the Sephora Spring Sale work?
There are three different discount levels during Sephora’s Spring Sale based on the three tiers of the Beauty Insider program. During the most recent sale, Rouge members get 20% off their entire order, VIB members got 15% off and Insiders got 10% off. The different levels also received early access to the sale at different times:
- Rouge Sephora sale: 20% off from April 9 to April 19.
- VIB Sephora sale: 15% off from April 13 to April 19.
- Insider Sephora sale: 10% off from April 15 to April 19.
