Where to Find Cheap Margaritas on Tequila Day

Take life with a grain of salt and a shot of tequila. Saturday, July 24 is National Tequila Day, and the chains below are celebrating with deals on margaritas, tequila shots and appetizers. Be sure to check with your local restaurant before showing up. Oftentimes, these deals are dependent on the location.

Note: All these deals are for guests ages 21+!

National Tequila Day Deals 2021

Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant: Existing rewards members who dine in or order online at abuelos.com or on the Abuelo’s app from 7/19-7/25 will be entered for a chance to win free queso, a free entrée, 25 points or $100 off their next visit. Guests who sign up for Mi Abuelo’s Rewards and visit from 7/19-7/25 will also be entered for a chance to win free queso, a free entrée, 25 points or $100 off their next visit.

Blue Mesa Grill: Celebrate National Tequila Day at Blue Mesa! All-day long on July 24, Blue Mesa will be serving blue margaritas. They will be served for dine-in and in to-go pouches!

Bonefish Grill: The restaurant is giving guests the recipe to its beloved Perfect Patrón Cucumber Margarita. Pair that margarita with Bonefish Grill’s Family Taco Bundles, including Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos or Chicken Tacos, starting at $34 served with warm flour tortillas and toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, lime sour cream and more). It also includes a salad, family-style sides, freshly baked bread and cookies that feeds up to five—available for carryout or delivery only. Chili’s:  On Saturday, July 24, Chili’s will offer three of its tastiest margaritas for $5. You can get a Presidente, The Grand Sunset and the Dreamy Frose Rita for just $5 each when you dine in or order them to go (depending on your area’s rules).

Chuy’s: On July 24, try Chuy’s new Frozen Watermelon ‘Rita and the Super Grande ‘Rita featuring 22 ounces of fresh-squeezed margarita in a color-changing cup, which yes, you can take home. Also, enjoy specials on National Tequila Day: $5 top-shelf tequila shots and $1 floaters to top your favorite margarita with an extra pour of tequila.

Del Taco: Go by any Del Taco drive-thru and claim a free snack-size serving of guacamole with any purchase between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. Valid for drive thru only. 

El Felix: Get a house margarita for $3.50, imported cervezas for $3 and domestic cervezas for $2.

Hopdoddy: For National Tequila Day, try Hopdoddy’s Roadie–a half-gallon bag of frozen house margarita–so you can easily share and celebrate with a crowd! This frozen, to-go margarita is made with fresh, hand-squeezed juice, and the 64 oz. is enough to bring the whole party with you. If you’re looking for a tasty tequila drink for one, there are even more options to choose from at the to-go bar, like Hopdoddy’s classic Strawberry Margarita or Doble Fina Margarita!

La Ventana: All day long, get house margaritas and cervezas for just $3.50.

Meso Maya: All day, get $5 house margaritas, $5 guacamole and $5 queso.

On the Border: If local laws allow, On The Border is offering their famous margaritas to go. You can order them by the glass or by the gallon online.

Snuffer’s: Get their house margarita for $4, which features Snufferita with olmeca altos reposado, El Presidente brandy, cointreau, orange and lime juice. 

Taco Cabana: For one day only, the taco chain is offering a special combo for only $3 in which you can pair a soft taco of your choice with one of a dozen MargaritaPalooza flavors, which include frosé, mangonada and watermelon.

Twisted Root Burger: Get their perfect margarita for just $5!

Village Burger Bar: Enjoy their house margarita for $5 all day long.

Yard House: Sip on two types of margaritas and a tequila-inspired IPA, which are available to go in certain areas. Choose from the House Margarita made with Chavo Malo Tequila Blanco, Triple Sec, citrus agave and lime, or the Salted Watermelon Margarita made with El Jimador Silver Tequila, citrus agave, Cointreau, watermelon puree and lime. Beer lovers, you can get a 64-ounce growler of Yard House’s Noble Pursuit, which is an agave-infused IPA with notes of citrus, lime and tequila. National Tequila Day Deals From 2020

These are deals from last year that we hope return this year.

Abuelo’s: All premium margaritas cost $6.95 on July 24.

Applebee’s: Okay, so there’s no tequila in the Malibu DOLLARMAMA. But for $1, get the 10-ounce drink, which includes Malibu Coconut Rum and Tropicana orange and Dole pineapple juices.

Bahama Breeze Island Grille: Get $5 classic margaritas, $10 create your own tequila flights, and try the new Tequila Sunburn Glazed Salmon.

El Fenix: House margaritas (on the rocks or frozen) are $1 on Wednesday.

Margaritas Mexican Restaurants: Get $5 infused tequila shots, a $5 tequila lime taco, $6 flavored margaritas and an $8 guacamole flight on Wednesday.

Twin Peaks: Get $2.99 Dulce Vida and Cuervo Silver and $4.99 Patron Silver, Don Julio Silver and Herradura Silver at the sports bar.
