When Audi first started teasing the e-tron GT, it wore a sort of red and black digitalized camouflage. It actually looked pretty cool, which makes sense considering the camo was developed by Audi and used for promotional purposes. Obviously, once the car actually debuted, Audi dropped the camo. However, if you liked the camo and still want to see it, Audi will sell you a car cover for your e-tron GT that looks the camouflaged version of the car.
This new car cover is an indoor cover, designed to be used in garages, and looks exactly like the Audi e-tron GT with the original pre-production camouflage. It’s been designed to fit as snuggly to the e-tron GT as possible, which gives the design a nice tight look, while also keeping out as much dust and debris as possible.
A car cover might be a bit tricky for an Audi e-tron GT, as you might want to have it on the charger for the majority of its time spent in your garage. However, if you want to keep your very expensive, very good looking Audi’s paint clean and clear while it sits inside for long periods of time, this car cover could be pretty cool. Its design is a nice touch and would make your garage look just that little bit more interesting.
It’s not the cheapest of car covers, checking in at $785, though customers who can afford a six-figure electric super sedan can also likely afford the car cover. It also fits both the Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT, obviously, as both feature the same damn car.
The Audi e-tron GT is an awesome car and one that any customer would be very happy to own. While this car cover is a bit silly and unnecessary, it’s a fun little Easter Egg for owners that want to continue their enthusiasm for the car.
