Jungalow by Justina Blakeney for Target Brings Boho Bliss to Your Home

[ad_1]

If you haven’t already heard the news, Target’s latest collaboration with Justina Blakeney of Jungalow is officially ready to shop, in-store and online. The eclectic home decor collection brings one of the internet’s favorite interior design brands to life through carefully curated rich colors, an array of textures and patterns, and small decorative touches that give any room a dose of personality.

While Jungalow by Justina Blakeney is indeed a collaboration with major retailer Target, its pieces feel personal — as if you hand selected these treasures through travels and worldly experiences.

From bedding and bath textiles to wall art and decorative vases, the Jungalow by Justina Blakeney for Target collaboration has something for every room in your house. Here are some of our top picks and personally loved products we’ve welcomed into our homes from the collection.

Who is Justina Blakeney and Jungalow?

Starting from humble blog roots in 2009, interior designer and author Justina Blakeney shared her personal style to the world through her blog, Jungalow. Fast forward a decade later and Blakeney has expanded her home decor empire to the shelves of everyone’s favorite store, Target. Teaming up with Target’s eclectic in-house brand, Opalhouse, Jungalow by Justina Blakeney is a home decor and furniture collection built upon the idea of good vibes for less.

Blakeney not infuses this idea into her designs but also into giving back as well. Justina Blakeney’s Jungalow has planted more than 65,000 trees through their “Trees for the Future” initiative, while also supporting non-profits such as the ACLU, Girls Who Code, Black Lives Matter, The Rainforest Alliance and more thanks to proceeds from Jungalow purchases.

Jungalow for Target Collaboration Top Picks

Although it was really (I mean really) hard for me to not purchase this entire collection, I have rounded up some of my personal purchases as well as The Real Deal’s top picks. Like many other popular Target collaborations, once it’s gone, it’s gone. So, waste no time hitting add to cart if something catches your eye because savvy shoppers know there are few (shopping) tragedies worse than letting a good deal slip through your fingers.

Selma Wicker Barrel Chair with Ivory Cushion – $250

Whenever I see classic wicker or rattan furniture, I picture a scene straight out of a Southern Living magazine: a breezy verdana with lush florals blooming all around. It’s something about the natural yet sophisticated look and feel of wicker that truly elevates something as simple as an accent chair. The Selma accent chair comes complete with crisp ivory cushion.

Euclid Fabric Table Lamp with USB, LED Bulb – $60

Euclidlamp

This lamp is absolutely divine. It’s modern yet has a touch of vintage charm with delicate fringe trim and gold accents. To to it off, the Euclid table lamp features a USB outlet for convenience and includes an LED bulb with purchase. Additional Euclid pendant light fixture and floor lamp are also available to complete the look.

Diamond Clipped Comforter & Sham Set, Cream – $59

diamondcomforter

Before we even discuss the beautiful detailing on this bedding it must be noted that $59 for a comforter and sham set usually gets you a plain, rough cotton fabric that somewhat resembles a comforter. In my savvy shopper opinion, this is one of the best buys from the Jungalow for Target collection. It’s soft and subtle yet delivers on a mix of boho and mid-century style with a textured diamond clipped design. I picked up this set because personally I love to keep my bedding neutral so that I can swap out colors and decor easily.

Printed Quilt in Black and Tan – $59

Now, for a 180-degree design turn we have this rich black and tan quilt featuring a stitched geometric pattern. What I adore about this quilt is that 1) although it’s patterned, it remains neutral and not overpowering 2) the versatility of incorporating a quilt into your bedding. It took me awhile to come around to quilts as a bedding option (I tend to gravitate towards duvets) however, in Texas heat a quilt is a lifesaver. Plus, they’re easier to store than bulky comforters and like neutral bedding they don’t tie you down to a specific style.

Arabesque Pattern Textured Throw Pillow, Mustard – $20

mustardthrow

Here’s the thing — at some point we’re going to have to admit to ourselves that it’s OK to allow mustards and greens back into popular color schemes without us regressing to the dark days of muted 1970s home appliances (if you don’t know what I’m talking about, ask your mother or do a quick ‘harvest gold fridge’ Google search). This mustard Arabesque textured throw pillow makes the perfect case for such. Once I saw this in store I thought to myself, “do I hate this or do I LOVE this funky color?” and seeing as how it’s displayed currently on my sofa, I’d say I went with the latter.

Shapes Framed Wall Art, 30″ X 24″ – $45

For only $45 this framed colorful abstract wall art looks like it could retail for hundreds of dollars. I love that you can hang it either vertical or horizontal, which allows you to play with a gallery wall or even hang two side-by-side vertically. Whichever way you decide to style this wall art to make it your own, it’s sure to be a conversation starter.

Swan Trinket Dish – $10

Whether you decide to display this swan trinket dish as an entry wall catch-all or next to your bed for taking off your jewelry at night, this gold accent is the perfect finishing touch. Measuring at 4-inches by 8-inches, this gilded trinket is as functional as it is decorative.
