How to Cancel Netflix

Compare that with the typical primetime viewing on network television and basic cable each evening, and that number sounds about right for the average fan of home entertainment.
So if we adjust for some weekends off or time spent watching content on other platforms, let’s say that you watch 50 hours of Netflix per month. Here’s what your content will actually cost per hour depending on your Netflix plan:

- On the Standard plan, that’s $0.28 per hour
- On the Premium plan, that’s $0.36 per hour
At those rates, you can watch a 10-episode season of a drama series for just $2.80 on the Standard plan. That’s not bad at all! While it may not be as inexpensive per hour as some other streaming providers, Netflix’s vast selection of quality content is certainly unparalleled. So overall, it’s a small price to pay to keep up with all the trends around the hottest shows that everyone will be talking about (including the most binge-worthy series that’ll have you dreaming up a whole new lifestyle.)
It’s also worth reiterating that Netflix is a great choice if you never want to deal with commercials (or be forced to pay extra to get rid of them) as they’re one of the only streamers that doesn’t have commercials on any plan.
